This is a random collection of our lovely couples who trusted us to capture their wedding day. Everything starts usually around 10 to 12 months before the wedding day, where we meet for the first time either via a video call or in person in my studio in Lucca.
After that it is just a matter of adjusting timelines depending on their wedding planning schedule, where every now and then I provide an input on the timing of the ceremony or the time where we will be doing the getting ready for the bride and groom.
The couples photoshoot is another important part of the day where most of the couples tend to follow the photographers advice. And this is one of the things that differentiates me from other colleagues. I don’t have a preferred time of the day, even though many would prefer sunset or the golden hour, I prefer to follow the day and the flow of it .
And in this way my couple photoshoot are not only limited to those so sought out moments like the sunset, golden hour, blue hour …. I prefer to capture moments with my couples at any given light, as long as they are comfortable. There is always a way to make great images and the trick is to have your couple relaxed as much as possible.
the rest is just chasing for the fancy lighting, or the trend of the moment.
And of course the usual and common sunset photos will be done as well, but not as part of the only photoshoot, but rather as a small appendix, something to have before the night ends.
So given this way of capturing moments and most of all the in-between moments, that is the reason why do not follow trends or the most liked pictures, nor the ones who win awards.
At the end of the day, nobody cares or will care if an image has won an award, or was trendy in 2020 or similar. The only thing that people will remember when they see at their wedding images will always be how they were feeling that day and my images tend to capture that.
